What problem are you solving?
I’m dedicated to leveraging open-source technology to address various challenges in digital product development and foster innovation in the tech ecosystem, particularly in Bauchi State. Through AVO ORIGIN Digital Enterprise and Startup Bauchi, we aim to bridge the digital divide and empower communities through technology.
What inspired you to solve this particular problem?
Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the disparity in access to technology and opportunities between urban and rural areas. This glaring inequality ignited my passion to use open-source technology as a tool for social change and empowerment, particularly in underserved regions like Bauchi State.
What problems and difficulties have you encountered and how did you overcome them?
Building a startup and advocating for open-source technology comes with its fair share of challenges, from funding constraints to resistance to change. However, through resilience, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, we’ve been able to overcome these obstacles, turning them into opportunities for growth and innovation.
What keeps you going?
The unwavering belief in the transformative power of technology to create positive change and improve lives, coupled with the support and encouragement from the communities we serve, fuels my determination to keep pushing forward despite the challenges.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I envision myself at the forefront of a thriving tech ecosystem in Bauchi State, with AVO ORIGIN Digital Enterprise and Startup Bauchi serving as catalysts for innovation and socioeconomic development in the region.

I aspire to leave a lasting legacy of empowerment and innovation by equipping individuals and communities in Bauchi State with the necessary tools, skills, and resources to thrive in the digital age and contribute meaningfully to socioeconomic development.
